As a non-profit organization, Christian Living Communities depends on the generosity of caring residents, families, and friends to help fulfill our mission of enriching the quality and dignity of life for older adults in our non-profit owned communities. Last year through tax-deductible gifts, compassionate supporters helped provide services and care to more than 1,000 older adults daily.

Featured Story

One of the more significant ways that CLC supports the professional development of team members is through scholarships. For Alice Bomboma, who has been working at Holly Creek for almost ten years, scholarship funding helped her to achieve her goal of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.

“I’m so very happy and grateful to receive that scholarship,” Alice said. “When I get my license, I’ll be at CLC helping people. I am doing this with my heart... You are changing people's lives!”

Who You Support

When you give to Christian Living Communities, you have the option of selecting how your gift makes an impact. Simply specify which fund you’d like to support at the time of donation:

Supports the most pressing needs of the organization while providing the greatest flexibility. That has included training, enhancements for specific communities and supplementing other funds if necessary.

Provides financial help to qualifying residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their financial means.

Funds the development of team members through tuition assistance so they can pursue their dreams. This benefits them personally and also the organization as a whole as they upskill.

Focuses on new ways to inspire the best team members through enhanced training, appreciation, and recognition.

Offers emergency grants for qualifying team members who need extra support for housing, transportation or medical expense shortfalls.

Provides community-specific enhancements that enrich the lives of the older adults who reside there. Examples include concert series, art classes, gardening and technology that promote spiritual, intellectual, physical and social opportunities.

Allows CLC to offer paid chaplain internships as well as general support for enhanced chaplain services.

Director of Philanthropy

As the Director of Philanthropy, Stephanie is responsible for setting strategy and identifying the tactics to encourage philanthropic support of Christian Living Communities.

Stephanie was previously Director of Philanthropy at Covenant Living Communities in Westminster, CO. She has demonstrated a passion for building relationships with residents and staff. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Stephanie is committed to ensuring our organization maintains ethical and accountable fundraising principles.

Stephanie began her career with non-profit organizations working with Operation Christmas Child. She spent 14 years with HCA Healthcare at The Medical Center of Aurora, where she led the hospital's volunteer services and seniors outreach program. She coordinated partnerships with staff and physicians to support local non-profit organizations through their financial and volunteer efforts.

After serving on the Food Bank of the Rockies Board, Stephanie transitioned to Director of Development from 2018-2020.

Stephanie has an MHA from Webster University, an MA in Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a BS from Trinity University. She is passionate about being part of a mission-driven organization that invests in providing older adults with compassionate and purposeful living opportunities.

Annual Giving Manager

Stormie Foust Maley, Annual Giving Manager, is a born Midwesterner and Certified Eden Alternative Educator who believes passionately that individuals can make a difference in the lives of others. She worked for nine and a half years at Dayspring Villa Assisted Living, a neighborhood of Christian Living Communities, prior to her role as Annual Giving Manager. There she learned firsthand the joy of building a purposeful and resilient community through a person-directed care mindset.

Stormie earned a master’s degree in International Political Theory from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University with majors in Political Science and Anthropology. She likes to leave things better than she found them, except for her kitchen, where she loves to cook and bake. Among her interests: playing with her two cats, hiking with her outdoorsy husband, spending time with her family, and watching videos about pandas.
