Donor Relations Team
As the Director of Donor Relations, Olivia is responsible for setting strategy and identifying the tactics to encourage philanthropic support of Christian Living Communities.
Olivia’s passion is connecting people with a desire to support older adults. She is driven by delivering exceptional, personalized customer service and takes a relational approach to all she does.
She joined Christian Living Communities donor relations team in 2009 after a career as a newspaper reporter and freelance writer that grew from her interest in discovering people’s stories. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. In 2015, she completed the Institute for Leaders in Development at University of Denver, a unique professional development program that identifies Colorado’s emerging nonprofit fundraising leaders and prepares them for the future.
Lucy joined CLC’s Donor Relations Team in 2018 as our Donor Relations Coordinator. “I have never felt such a warm welcome from my coworkers! CLC embodies what it means to live the mission.”
Lucy comes from years of experience in event planning, healthcare recruitment, and even running her own business. She has taught improvisational theater to people of all ages, but she especially loves the older adult community: “I have always loved hearing about their life journeys. Seniors are a wealth of knowledge and wisdom and the younger generation ought to pay more attention to what they have to offer. They’re experts at improv!” Her goal is to take the Donor Relations department to a whole new level of inclusion and success. She loves to make people laugh and feel good about themselves.
Lucy is a Pennsylvania native but has lived in Colorado for 22 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
