At Clermont Park, a Christian Living Communities neighborhood, resident Ed Childs has spent time planting and tending to the community’s gardens as a volunteer groundskeeper for years. Ed’s green thumb and love of gardening – passed to him from his mother and grandmother – bring joy to all who live and work at Clermont Park. As a thank you for the care he shows his neighbors and the community, Clermont Park residents joined together this spring to surprise him with a new golf cart to assist him as he tends to the grounds. They also nominated him to Denver7 News, and Ed was recently honored as a Denver7 Everyday Hero!
