On Saturday June 9, the Denver Broncos Headquarters at Dove Valley featured something different; artistic expressions from participants in the Memories in the Making program. This program, created by the Alzheimer’s Association, offers individuals with memory loss an opportunity to communicate a special memory through a painting or drawing.

Four participant artists from Clermont Park and Someren Glen were selected to enter artwork into the event’s silent auction. The creative pieces were then “partnered” with works by professional artists from the Denver metro area and auctioned as a pair.  According to Someren Glen Volunteer Coordinator Jeanette Preston, who participated as one of the partnering artists, those who graciously offer their time and talent often have a personal connection to the cause.
